I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Chop almonds for 5 seconds on speed 6. Set aside.
Without cleaning bowl, add all other ingredients and process for 1 minute on speed 9. Add 1 tablespoon of water if mixture is too dry.
Add chopped nuts and mix for 40 seconds on speed 6. (Depending on the dates, sometimes my thermomix struggles at this step. Don't force it, just mix the nuts through with your spatula instead).
Roll into balls. They can be rolled in coconut if desired, or left plain.
Tip
Store in fridge for at least 2 weeks (I have eaten all mine by then), or freeze.
I always use dried pitted dates (just check to make sure all the pits have been removed). If yours feel a bit hard, try weighing them into your steamer basket, and tipping some boiling water over them. I found that doing this softens them just enough.

TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

These are a favourite in our house. We make them at least once a fortnight! I always use cacao instead of cocoa and sometimes sub rive malt syrup for the honey and add some chia seeds. My 3.5 y.o. son absolutely loves them!
Yummo! Used 1/2 as much maple syrup & used half whole almonds (ran out) and 1/2 almond flour, tasted great.
I made these the other day - they are fantastic. Thanks for the recipe. I milked the almonds so they ended up a little smoother and I rolled them in dessicated coconut to finish.
We used a mix of nuts and sunflower seed and used almond butter. Yum!
Outstanding
Great tasting, I used all fresh medjool dates in 270g, made recipe to the letter & found it to be one of the messier bliss ball recipes I’ve tried. Next time I would add 1tbsp coconut oil & reduce the peanut butter by 15g. The mixture was very difficult to get out of the thermie bowl. Having said that, I just think it’s personal preference & I’d definitely make it again by tweaking the recipe. I got 30 balls out of my mixture & rolled them in coconut - yum!
These are yummy!
YUM! YUM! YUMMO!!! literally just made these....I substituted the dates with dried apricots, so delicious. I got 27 balls 25g each. Thank you
Delish and easy!!!
