Added a couple of drops of pure peppermint oil. Devine!
Yummy, a lovely treat!
So easy and always a hit in this house. Delish.
We make this so often - such a fantastic slice!
Thanks for the recipe Christie and the tip DanArt - so quick, easy, a tastey slice. Thank goodness you ladies can come up with these wonderful recipes.
Hi Diane, I am a newbie and keen on using the chia seeds in my cupboard. Do you just throw them in somewhere near the beginning of the recipe or do you soak them before adding them? Thanks in advance for your help!
These are yummy! I added a chocolate layer to the top which in my opinion tool it from great to exceptional. I used 125g of coconut oil, 100g marple syrup, 2 tbs of cocoa as a chocolate layer, and place completed brownie/slice in freezer to take form.
You can then take from freezer after say 1hr, cut into shapes and store in the fridge, though personally i like it at room temperature - becomes more goey that way.
Absolutely delish! One question though Christie - do they have to be kept in the fridge until it is time to be eaten.
When I take mine to work - they get very soft and tend to 'melt' - not sure what I have done wrong
Loved them, as usual added some Chia Seeds.
