Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180* Fan forced. Line biscuit trays with baking paper.

Chop clinkers Closed lidturbo button twice, set aside (I had a few clinkers that were still whole - these can be eaten, or added back to the thermo to chop further) Do not wash the bowl.

Cream butter and both sugars Speed 5, 45 sec.

Add condensed milk and vanilla essence and mix Speed 5, 15 sec.

Add both flours and mix Speed 5, 20 sec - scrape down edges if necessary and mix a further Speed 5, 15 sec.

Add chopped clinkers and mix counter-clockwise operation Speed 3-4, 15 sec.

Scoop small dessert sized spoonfuls of mixture, roll into balls and place on tray. Flatten slightly and smooth edges, leave room for biscuits to spread - See picture above.

Cook for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.

Move to a cooling rack after 5 minutes.
