Ingredients

Clone of Cadbury Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 125 grams brown sugar
  • 80 grams caster sugar - or blitz your own
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence/Extract
  • 280 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 125 grams Butter
  • 180 grams CADBURY milk chocolate chips

Recipe's preparation

    Clone of Cadbury Chocolate Chip Cookies
  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees

    1. Using raw sugar, Mill caster sugar

    2. Add brown sugar and butter and mix on speed 5 for 15sec

    3. Add vanilla and egg through hole for further 5sec

    4. Add flour and mix on speed 5 for 30sec

    5. Add choc chips and mix Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" on speed 2 for 20sec

    6. Roll teaspoon of mixture on a lined baking tray and bake for 10-15min. Cool on a wire rack.


Tip

- cooking time varies according to how u like your biscuits

- do not flatten biscuits they will do this on their own in oven

- can add more choc chips or white chocolate chips as well if like for a variety

    I found these a bit sweet. With a daughter who cannot tolerate too much sugar, I would lower the sugar content next time. In saying that, however,  they turned out beautifully. Nice and thick with a crunchy outside and a softer centre. I will definitely be making them again.   Cooking 7

    These are my favorite cookies for a easy work morning tea.

    trying to be "good", I just did them but switched the butter for low fat Greek yogurt. 1/2 the butter quantiy. The batter made less cookies and They turned out not as crunchy as I'd like bickies but TASTY!! Let's see how my work mates like morning tea tomorrow....

    These are the best tasting biscuit I've tasted. I use dark choc chips instead and they stay a bit gooey even when cooled.
