- 150 g Butter, softened
- 150 g brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 egg
- 240 g plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 50 g White Choc Chips
- 200 g milk or dark choc chips

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
3. Place butter & sugar into the mixing bowl & mix 40 seconds/speed4.
4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl using the spatula. Add egg & vanilla & mix 20 seconds/speed 4.
5. Add flour & baking powder & mix 20 seconds/speed 3.
6. Scrape down the sides & add choc chips. Mix 15 seconds/speed 3. Use spatula to stir through choc chips further if required.
7. Roll a tablespoon of mixture into a ball & place on prepared tray. Place biscuits at least 3cm apart to allow room for spread.
8. Bake 12 minutes or until slighly golden.
9. Cool for a couple of minutes on tray before transfering to a wire rack to cool completely.
Tip
Use a combination of milk, white & dark choc chips for a triple choc chip cookie.
Add chopped nuts (peanuts/almonds/macadamias) for a different variation.
