Add brown sugar. Beat 10 sec/speed 6. Scrape down sides of missing bowl.
Add eggs and vanilla. Mix 15 sec/ speed 5.
In a conventional mixing bowl, combine self raising flour and oats. Then spoon mixture from TMX into flour mixture and stir together. Set aside.
Place butter, condensed milk and chocolate into mixing bowl. Melt and combine 2.5-3 min/50C/speed 3. Keep an eye on the mixture, scrape down sides if necessary. Continue melting until there are no more lumps.
Press 2/3 of the oat mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Use moistened hands if mixture is sticky.
Pour fudge mixture on top of oat mixture.
Using your fingers, dot remaining 1/3 of oat mixture over the fudge.
Bake in a 180C/350F oven for about 25 minutes or until top is lightly browned (fudge mixture will still look moist).
Cool on a wire rack whle still in baking pan. Allow to cool for a very long time (at least 2 hours) especially before eating. Cut into 2x2inch bars.

Tip
If desired, pat down final oat layer (using lightly moistened hands) to create and even texture and so that fudge oozes up between dots of oats.
