I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    What to do.
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and grease and line a square (20cm x 15cm/8 inch x 6 inch) baking tin with baking paper.
  2. Place dark chocolate and butter into bowl. Gently melt 3 mins, 70 degrees, speed 2. Increase time if required. Set aside but don't clean the bowl.

Place the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt into Thermomix bowl. Mix on speed 3.5 for 6 seconds or until combined.

Add eggs, vanilla, milk and mix on speed 3.5 for 6 seconds.

Add the melted chocolate and butter and mix on speed 3.5 for 5 seconds or until combined.

Add the chocolate chunks (I chop up large chunks from a 100 g bar of chocolate) to the bowl and stir through with a spatula.

Pour into prepared tin and cook for 12 - 15 minutes. Check and keep cooking if it's not quite ready. It will start to crack around the edges when it is cooked.

Cut into squares while it is still warm, then wait for it to cool before removing it from the tin.

Of course, you can also choose to eat it while it's still warm. Just carefully lift out of the tin once it's had time to cool down a little then add a dollop of icecream on top.

    Delicious!

Can be frozen once cooked. Just bring out as many pieces as you need and let defrost or carefully defrost in microwave.

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
