Recipe's preparation

  1. Add walnuts to the Thermomix bowl and chop on speed 6 for 3 seconds. Remove Walnuts and put to the side.

Add sugar to the bowl and mill on speed 9 for 20 seconds.

Add cubed butter and chop on speed 6 for 30 seconds. Insert butterfly and whip on speed 4 for 20 seconds.

Remove butterfly and add flour, cinnamon and reserved walnuts and set dial to close lid position.

Knead on interval speed for 30 seconds. Scrape down sides and knead again for 20 seconds until the mixture looks crumbly.

Reserve 1 cup of the crumble mixture.

Pour remaining mixture into a lined slice tin and press down.

Scatter with frozen raspberries and pour the reserve crumble mixture over the top.

Bake in oven on 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

Allow to cool in tin before slicing.

Delicious. I used Almonds as I didn't have Walnuts. Still tasted great. Poured a little vanilla custard over. Perfect  winters night dessert.  tmrc_emoticons.)
