Just made these in a cook along this morning and they were perfect. So fluffy, delicious & easy to make. Skipped the mixing went straight to 1min knead "Gentle stir setting" Done.
Coccinella: yes definetely thickened cream. Really fluffy result.
Best scones ever, definitely never fail
I used gf flour and they were as near the real thing as I’ve been able to get. Thanks for the recipe.

I can't believe how good this recipe is! I've made a lot of scones and this is the best recipe I've used. So quick and easy and the scones stay fresh for days! Thanks for sharing!
OMG!!! THE BEST EVER IN THE HISTORY OF SCONES.
I have made scones (or at least tried to) many times over the years. I kid you not, EVERY time you could peg them at a window and it would shatter it (the window, not the "scones") - teeth breaking stuff. So I thought after seeing this recipe last night, I would give them another crack. I have redeemed myself. These are the easiest scones to make, they were so light and super yummmmm. Mr 20, Mr 19 and SUPER FUSSY Mr 19 loved, loved, loved them. Hubby thought they rocked too (excuse the pun lol). Will definatly be making these again and again. I brushed milk on top before popping them in the oven. My only tweak would be to bake for 20 mins next time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Now lets see if I can finally conquer steak too.
