Ingredients

  • 200 grams strawberries, hulled
  • 140 grams raw sugar
  • 250 grams unsalted butter cubed, made from EDC
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 350 grams Plain Flour.
  • 40 grams self-raising flour
  • 200 grams Dark or milk choc chips

Recipe's preparation

    Line baking tray with baking paper and preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  1. Add sugar to bowl and mill for 5 secs/ Spd 9. Set aside.

  2. Add strawberries to bowl and chop for 3 secs/Spd 5. Set aside.

  3. Place butter and sugar into bowl and mix 1min/speed6

  4. Add eggs  turn TM to speed 3 and slowly add baking powder, SR flour and Plain flour.  Then Closed liddough mode for 30sec

  5. Add choc chips and strawberries and mix 20sec/counter-clockwise operation/speed 3

  6. Roll spoonfuls of mixture and place onto prepared baking trays then flatten.

  7. Bake for 12mins or until lightly golden

Tip

Variations: Swap strawberries for seasonal fruit or nuts
