Ingredients
- 200 g Self Raising Flour
- 100 g Softened coconut oil or butter
- 60 g Brown Sugar.
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 15 g Vanilla Paste
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-2 tablespoon brewers yeast
- 3 tablespoon water
- 100 g Choc chips or chopped nuts, Optional
- 100 g rolled oats

Preheat oven 180 degrees
Add all ingredients except oats and nuts/choc chips. Speed 5 for 5 seconds. All ingredients should be combined
Add oats and chocolate chips/nuts. Speed 5 for 10 seconds on reverse
Using about a heaped teaspoon amount of dough. Roll into balls. Place on greased oven tray. Flatten a little. If you like soft leave thicker.
Bake in hot oven for 10-20 minutes depending on how crunchy you like them. They should be at least lightly browned before you remove from oven.
Tip
Brewers yeast is quite bitter. So while there is a bit of sugar in these cookies it is necessary to disguise the bitter taste. And well when im breastfeeding sugar is my biggest craving. Brewers yeast is the most important ingredient to encourage milk production.
Nutritional yeast and bakers yeast are different. Don't use them.
Apparently eating the dough is even more powerful but be careful of the raw egg.
