Ingredients

Swiss Chocolate Slice

  • 125 g unsalted butter, soft
  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 g milk chocolate, preferable Swiss chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar, optional
  • 3 tbsp plain flour, or GF flour
  • 100 g dark chocolate, preferable Swiss chocolate
  • 80 g pure cream

Recipe's preparation

    Chocolate slice
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking try (18cm by 27cm or similar)
  2. Place milk chocolate into mixing bowl and grate for 10sec/speed8, set aside.
  3. Place soft butter into mixing bowl and wipe 20sec/speed 5
  4. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt, mix well 20sec/speed 5
  5. Add the reserved chocolate and combine 5sec/speed 5
    scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  6. Mix in flour until just combined, 5sec/speed 5
    Fill mixture into slice tin and bake for 30min.
  7. Chocolate Ganache
  8. Place dark chocolate into mixing bowl and grate 10sec/speed 8
    Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula.
  9. Add cream and heat 2min/50°C/speed 3

  10. Poor ganache over slightly cooled down slice and let it set befor serving.

Tip

This chocolate slice works perfectly with GF flour.
Serve with fresh berries for a touch of colour.
