  • 2 level tsp dried instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 300 g Milk
  • 500 g Baker's Flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg yolk, optional

Recipe's preparation

    Dough preparation
  1. Add soft butter, yeast, sugar and milk into mixing bowl and heat for 3min/37C/speed2
  2. Add baker's flour and salt and knead 3min/Dough mode"Dough mode"
    If dough is very wet, add 1tbsp of extra flour and knead for an extra 1min.
    Place dough into ThermoServer or wrap into Thermomat and leave to prove in a warm place until double in size (20min)
  3. Line a baking try or bread tin and shape your bread as you please. See additional tips
    Once bread has been formed brush with egg yolk and place into cold oven. Bake at 180C for 30min or until bread sounds hollow when tapped on the underside. Bread rolls have a shorter baking time.

    Thanks for the recipe. I just made this as it seemed like a fairly quick bread to make (on the table in about an hour). I used maple syrup brushed on top with pumpkin seeds. I did need to add a tbs of flour as recommended with an extra minute knead. I baked it in a loaf pan. I will definitely make this again. Thanks again.
