Ingredients

chocolate cookies

  • 175g Self Raising Flour
  • 140g unsalted butter
  • 55g Coco powder
  • 175g caster sugar
  • 1 egg

the icing

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 85g milk choc bitz
  • 1 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup

the extras

  • 10 easter eggs

Recipe's preparation

    making the cookies
  1. In the bowl beat the butter and the caster sugar together until smooth.


    Beat the egg and while sift te flour and coco over the mixture .Then mix on 3 till dough forms . When dough is ready share dough into 20 portions ,then use the back of a spoon to put a dit inthe cookie  and bake for 15 minutes .

  3. put  chocolate,butter and syrup in the  bowl and heat at 80 for 2and 1/2 minutes then put a  teaspoon fullinthe dip ofthe cookie .


    then if you want to add half a small chocolate eggon the icing.

Tip

Change the Easter egg to any decoration to suit the occasion you wish to celebrate. This recipe was adapted to TMX by Xanthe herself (11yrs Old). They are really yummy.

    The cookies spread way too much to make puddles in, plus previous recipes I made puddle with back of spoon after baking, I did it pre & they just spread so did again after baking.. I'll have to play with the recipe a bit I think...
