Recipe's preparation

Maple Roasted Nut Museli/Granola - Paleo
  1. Preheat oven to 165 degrees

  2. Place all ingredients into thermomix bowl

  3. Turbo until desired texture is achieved (i do 2 seconds for mine)

  4. Cover large baking tray with baking paper and spoon mixture onto tray, flatten with spatula

  5. Bake in three stages. First bake for about 12 minutes and then stir the mix as the top would have browned by now. Then bake for 8-10 minutes and stir again. Finally bake for the last 4-5 minutes.

  6. Remove and let it cool completely. The mixture should have turned crispy and dark golden brown.  Transfer to an air-tight container. You can leave it out of the fridge for a few days but it will keep longer, for up to two weeks, if you refrigerate it.

  7. Serve with greek yoghurt and fresh berries.

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
