    2. Add mixed nuts/seeds. Chop 5 sec, sp 5. (you can add the coconut flakes at this step if you dont like it chunky)

    3. Add remianing ingredients. Cook 4 min, 80 deg, sp 2.

    4. Add more/ less water depending on whether you like a thick or runny porridge.

    5. If you prefer a smoother porridge blend 10 sec, sp 5 at the end.

Tip

I always activate my nuts/seeds first to make them easier to digest. Just soak the night before if you dont have any on hand.

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

GREAT RECIPE! I was struggling to find something for brekky this morning. Found this recipe and had all the ingredients on hand so thought I'd give it a spin. I'm really impressed with all the nutritious ingredients used in this recipe - I left none of it out. I've tried quite a few different Paleo porridge recipes and had almost given up... This one's a real winner! I love the thickness that it retains and I love the chunkiness! The weather is quite hot at the moment so I cooled it down by adding some frozen berries and chilled coconut milk to serve. I'm sure I'll enjoy it hot in winter. Thanks for an awesome recipe!
