I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- place all ingredients into bowl, mix for 10 minutes / 40° / speed 4.
- meanwhile, pre-warm glass bowl with some hot water. once finished mixing, dry bowl and pour in yoghurt mixture and cover with glad wrap.
- rince thermomix bowl, then pour in water and lemon juice.
- put lid onto thermy bowl and put varoma dish into place. carefully add in bowl of yoghurt, covered with gladwrap, then put varoma lid on top. Using TM6 fermentation function, set to ferment for 12 hours / 70°. you will need to ensure you have sufficient ventilation space around your bowl for the steam to get through, i sat my bowl on a trivet to allow for this.
- once completed, carefully remove gladwrap and transfer yoghurt to the fridge.

Recipe is created for
TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Could I use my white thermoserver instead of the glass bowl?
I’ve made this recipe and love it beautiful creamy yoghurt. My question is when filling smaller glass containers for fermenting why does it the amount decrease some are still full and others only half full ?
This recipe was recommended to me. Used 100g of milk powder. I was totally impressed with the result. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hi can you leave the milk powder out as I'm wanting to make lactose free yoghurt
Don’t forget to add lemon into your mixing bowl to prevent against rust!
Great recipe. I extended the time by about 8 hours, used 1 Tbs sugar and added a probiotic capsule to bump live cultures.
What an awesome recipe for the Thermomix TM6! Thanks Bel
