Thanks for recipe, this has been my go to for some time but forgot to rate. Lovely texture and taste and I'm Irish...so fussy. 😁🙂

Very soft and flavoursome. You are concous of the smell and tast of soda, but we ate it nearly out of the pan so the butter melted and it was delicious. It was still moist and soft the next day. The mixture is very stiff and was hard to get out of the thermomix and into the pan. I did not put the oats on the top as children often do not like this. It is hard to get a bread like loaf without yeast, but this was very good. Not heavy either and not too sweet. We ate it with a chicken casserole as savoury. The person who ate the most was one with irish forebears!!
