  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 525 grams WARM milk

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 200°C. Combine all ingredients in the mixing bowl and mix 20 sec/speed 2. Scrape down sides with spatula. Then knead Dough Dough mode"Dough mode" 2 mins.

  2. Transfer dough onto thermomat or in oiled mixing bowl and work into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap, leave to prove until double in size 2-3 hours.

  3. Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" Divide the dough into 14 small pieces, approx 95 gms each. Knead/Shape into balls. Cover with clean kitchen towel and leave to prove another 30 mins.

  4. Take each portion and roll out to about a 9" by 5" oval. Fold down top of oval and roll like you would a Cresent roll. Repeat for all portions.

  5. Place them as you go in rows of 7 x 7 on a oiled baking tray or lined with baking paper. Brush with oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Leave to prove another 15-20 mins.

  6. Bake for 20mins. Remove from oven brush with oil or melted butter. Enjoy!

Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
