- 60 - 80 g sugar, to taste
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch nutmeg, ground
- 155 ml can coconut cream

1. Peel, core and chop apples, place in shallow tray and drizzle with lemon juice before putting in freezer.2. When apple pieces are frozen, place sugar and lemon zest into bowl and mill 20 sec speed 9. Scrape down sides of bowl.3. Add spices and frozen apple pieces, making sure there are no pieces frozen together, chop 10 sec speed 8. Scrape down and chop again if needed.4. Add coconut cream and mix 40 - 60 sec speed 5.Insert butterfly and mix 30 to 40 sec speed 3. Add a couple of tablespoons of water if to thick for your taste.
Tip
Suitable for all models.
Preparation time allows for freezing the apple pieces which may take longer than the two hours allowed under some circumstances.
Amount of sugar can be varied according to your taste and also the sweetness of the apples being used. Some sweet dessert apples may require very little added sugar.
Finished product looks unexciting because of the spices added but tastes magical.
