- 100 grams Salted Pretzels, crumbed
- 110 grams melted butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed

- 160 grams melted butter
- 180 grams Raw caster sugar
- 75 grams cocoa powder
- 2 eggs large
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 70 grams plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
caramel
- 100 grams brown sugar
- 100 grams raw sugar
- 100 grams Butter
- 120 grams thickened cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Blend pretzel on speed 7 for 20 second, add melted butter and brown sugar speed 7 for 10 seconds. Press crumb mixture to 10 x 10 cm lined tin and bake in oven 180 degrees fan forced for 7 minutes. Leave to slightly cooled.
Add all ingredients, speed 8 for 20 seconds. Mixture will be glossy and on the runny side. Pour mixture over slightly cooled Pretzel base and bake for 25 minutes in 180 degree fan forced oven. DON'T OVER COOK. Allow to cool for minimun 30 minutes before adding caramel in next step
Add all ingrediants, speed 6 for 5 seconds. Then varoma for 12 minutes with TM lid off. Another 2 minutes for thicker caramel. Pour over slightly cooled brownie and allow to cool completely. After 1 hour add 1/2 teaspoon of granular salt for a salted caramel, if desired. Keep refridgerated for up to 3 days. Take out of fridge at least a hour before serving to allow to soften.

I made this slice, it was a big bit! I thought that 10 x 10 cm sized tin specified was't correct so I use one about double that size. Additionally, my caramel was still a little runny even with the extra cooking time so I'd increase that further next time. I decorated the top of each square with a mini pretzel just before serving.
