So yummy! I made it for my husband' birthday last week and we all liked it so much that I'm making it again today to take to friends!

I made the Thermie chocolate ganache (Basic Cookbook) to ice the cake, and served it with mixed fresh berries and vanilla ice cream.

I made this in a big springform tin in the oven for 30 minutes. It came out a little flatter & drier than I'd hoped, but the flavour was great. Next time I'll do it in a smaller tin.

Excellent. 150g sugar enough & omit choc bits- unnecessary. Thanks

Yes it makes a huge quantity! If microwaving, ensure dish is big enough otherwise mixture may overflow.

This is a good standby recipe for last minute desserts. You can mill almonds to the preferred  consistency  - I like a bit of texture but they can be milled finer for smoother batter. tmrc_emoticons.)

tmrc_emoticons.)  Followed the tip and served it warm with raspberries and some ice cream - very yummy! Next time I make it I will mill the almonds a little longer to ensure the meal is nice and fine. Thanks for converting this recipe - it was  super quick to prepare.

I went looking for a recipe late yesterday afternoon to make a dessert for that night using only ingredients I had in the house already.  Had them + made it = AWESOME!!!  Crispy on the outside and gorgeously gooey on the inside.  Glad it made so much so we could have some leftovers!  Great recipe.
