I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Mill the 500g descicated coconut & coconut oil on speed 10 for 2 minutes
2. Add the maple syrup & cocoa powder and blend speed 5 for 30 seconds
3. Pour into/onto silicon chocolate mounds tray, silicon bar mould or onto a slice tray with baking paper and chill in the fridge or freezer until hard. Keep in the fridge for storage.
Coconut chocolate fudge
Tip
If pouring onto a slice tray, an option is to sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
Depending on the level of oil in your desciated coconut, it should become runny after 2 minutes. If not you can add an extra tbsp of coconut oil, and process for an additional minute. Also choosing 37 temp should help make the coconut runny.
Also, please note this "fudge" is a super healthy treat, but you have to be a fan of coconut butter, as it will be the main flavour. It's more of a substitute when you going dairy free, and refined sugar/excess sugar free. It's a sweet treat that can acually curb sugar cravings because of the high (good) fat contect from the coconut. I like to call this a "dieters" best friend.

Sorry I agree with Suey too it's just like coconut and maple syrup and very sandy I wasted a lot of ingredients too.
My first ever recipe community thing I have made! It's delicious and my vegan colleagues at work are going to love me tomorrow!
I think this is deliscious!!!. Like chocolate coconut ice. Good healthier alternative to traditional fudge. And yeah.......the comment about feeling like your just eating coconut and maple syrup.....lol! What were you expecting?
This looks delicious.Must give it a go soon.

Mine didn't turn out well either. Maybe making coconut butter first then adding the Cocoa...
Sorry you didn't like the recipe. I make it every second week and love it for when I'm craving chocolate (but want to stick to my healthy eating plan). I am known for eating coconut butter straight all the time too, so it's probably me being used to really coconutty snacks! It is a super healthy treat, but maybe you were expecting something sweeter, or more traditionally fudge. Here is a recipe I thought you may like instead:

Was unsure about making this but thought I'd give tuna crack. Can't say I'm a fan. Not quite the right texture and the taste isn't that grea. I feel like I'm just eating coconut and maple syrup. And now I've wasted 500g of coconut sorry!
