Recipe's preparation

  1. Place walnuts in TM bowl and blend to make walnut flour (speed 8, 5 seconds).

Add diced carrots, and pitted dates to TM bowl.  Blend speed 8 for 10-15seconds.

Add remaining ingredients except golden flaxseed meal.    Speed 7 for 15-20 seconds with spatula.  Stopping to push ingredients back onto blade area.  Slowly then add the golden flaxseed meal through the top, until a thick consistency for rolling into balls achieved.   Roll into ball in palm of hand and dip in sesame seeds or desiccated coconut.

This is a very versatile recipe.  Ingredients can easily be exchanged based what is in you cupboard at the time.   For example different dried fruit or crystalized ginger, different vegetables (zucchini, raw beetroot, squash) and different nut bases.  I keep them in small snap lock container’s in the freezer and pull one out take for an easy snack on a busy day.  Enjoy!
