Recipe's preparation

Place dessicated coconut into a snap lock bag and set aside.
  1. Place dates, cashews and almonds into the thermomix Closed lid"Closed lid" . Mix on speed 7 for 30 seconds so dates are now all mixed together.

  2. Closed lid"Closed lid" Add the sunflower seeds, chia seeds and cocao powder and mix Closed lid"Closed lid"  on speed 7 for 10 seconds.

  3. Now add the liquid - the honey and the rice malt syrup. These are what help bind the ingredients together so they are easy to roll. Mix  on speed 7 for 10 seconds. You can hear and see the difference. The ingredients will all be mixed well and coming away from the sides of the bowl.

  4. To finish off your bliss balls, roll into balls (I use a plastic dessert spoon for this so it doesn't scratch the bowl). Roll one ball and place into the zip lock bag and rock the bag gently to get coconut all over the ball. Do this will all of the balls and place in a container. Keep in the fridge for a delicious and healthy snack!
