- 180 g brown sugar
- 80 g raw sugar
- 25 g Butter
- 10 g salt
- 60 g honey, Optional - I used flavoured Truffle Honey
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence, or other flavour of choice (e.g. Almond)

Bring water to boil. 7 minutes, 100C on Speed 2.
Add rest of the ingredients. 6 minutes, 70C on Speed 3.
Tip
Syrup should be slightly thick and sticky but easy to pour out of bowl.
Can be used as substitute for maple syrup or golden syrup.
Recipe can be halved and served with pancake or used along with the Traditional Caramel Slice recipe.
