Ingredients

Dan's Apple Pie Simple Green Smoothie

  • 30 g Fresh Baby Spinach, (or 2 big handfuls)
  • 300 g Almond milk, unsweetened
  • 3 apples, any kind, core removed
  • 4 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 6 ice cubes, for the glass

Recipe's preparation

    Option 1: Let it blend...
  1. Add all ingreedients in to the mixing bowl Closed lid"Closed lid"

    Blend 2 mins, speed 9 or until you can't see any leafy bits.

  2. Option 2: Chop first and then blend...
  3. Add in the apple and spinach to the mixing bowl Closed lid"Closed lid"

    Chop 5 seconds, speed 5.

    Add all other ingredients (except the ice).

    Blend 1 minute, speed 9.

  4. Drink
  5. Pour your Simple Green Smoothie in to a glass or a fancy masion jar. 

    Use a pretty straw to drink your smoothie.

    Add ice cubes to make the drink cold.

  6. Share
  7. Snap a photo and post it on social media with the hashtag: #SimpleGreenSmoothies

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
