Recipe's preparation

  1. Weigh oats, almonds and Akta vite into TM bowl and blend on speed 10 for 30 seconds.

Scrape down sides of bowl, add banana and blend on speed 8 for 20 seconds

Akta - Vite has been around for years and i found it in IGA. It has a lot less sugar than Milo and has a lot of vitamins.

Used Milo coz we had it in the cupboard. Very tasty. Will make it and will no longer buy Up and go. Made it last night and tasted great this morning. Awesome for not waking up the house in the morning

Love this recipe! Saving heaps of money not buying store bought up and goes. I'm not a fan of banana in drinks so I added some YIAH choc powder and now can't wait for breaky!

Hi Cathy, sounds great, my kids love Up and Go but I never buy it for them.  Where (and if in supermarket, in what type of aisle) can I buy AKTAVITE?

Try avacado or just leave it out altogether and add a few more almonds to thicken tmrc_emoticons.)

This is a great recipie! My kids love this one - including my very fussy son! So quick and easy to whip up in the morning.

I found when I blended the banana first, then added the milk as per the recipie I always got some mixture stuck around the bottom of the blades. This morning I skipped that step and added banana, milk and water all together and blended and that worked a treat!

    Thanks for the conversion  tmrc_emoticons.)
