Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees centigrade.

Place onion and garlic in bowl and chop speed 7 for 4 seconds.

  2. Scrape down sides of bowl and add all remaining ingredients.

  3. Mix speed 4 for 15 seconds.

  4. Form into meatballs and place on baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.

  5. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Tip

These could also be steamed in the varoma or deep fried.

Some coriander would also be lovely in the meat balls.

The brown onion can be substituted with spring onion.

A lovely soft textured meatball that is super moist and moreish!

Serve with ginger and spring onion stir-fired noodles/zoodles or steamed jasmine rice.

These were good had to find a turkey meatball recipe for the meal plan hubby is doing! these are tastey and will be a regular even the eldest daughter liked them! I didn't have any chinese 5 spice so i just used a teaspoon parsley, a little cinnamon and a little ground clove, salt and pepper to taste.
