Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

This is a winner winner chicken dinner. My family devoured this. Thanks will add this to my favs
I'm new here but not new to cooking. Just bought the TM6. Tried butter chicken from Basic Cook book. Hubby really disappointed. Chicken thighs were tough. They're never tough when I do on stove top which is often. Was far too much sauce so I froze that. I even left a but longer at the 90 degree setting.
so please tell me why.
Amazing recipe. Quick, easy & very flavoursome. Enjoyed by all including my 88 yr old Mum (with just a touch of extra plain yoghurt on the side) 😉
This recipe is absolutely delicious. I also halve the tandoori paste and curry powder for the kids. It tastes just like an authentic butter chicken from our local Indian restaurant. Amazing! Thank you so much for sharing!
Really nice, just added a bit of salt and that lifted it! Really tasty.
Have this quiet regularly in our home now its delicious and everyone loves it!
Definitely a favorite in my house, did halve the curry powder and tandoori paste, to make it less spicy. Mr 6 year old wanted seconds and hubby can't wait for leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
This was so yummy! A little bit spicy so next time will go a bit easier with the tandoori paste and curry powder. Great for a quick leftover lunch.
Easy, quick & yummy. Freezes well. Great to freeze in individual serves. Goes a long way.
Glad you liked it! I love that I can easily make this after work because it's quick, or I can cook in advance and reheat.
