Chicken Drumstick Curry
Tip
1 - I used free range lovely legs from Woolies as they are skinless and have the lower part of the bone removed making them easier to fit in the bowl (I can fit 10 small ones of these in)
2 - It is quite a thin sauce although the chickpeas (which disappear) thicken it slightly on standing but the rice will soak it all up.
3 - This is loosely based on Jamie Olivers "Pukka Yellow Curry" from his Save With Jamie Cook Book.

Comments
I made this in the TM5, with 8 standard drumsticks, skin removed.
Such easy instructions to follow and adapt - I wasn't really sure how the chicken was going to cook, but it sure did.
I didn't have any coriander, so I used parsley.
I didn't have any chillies, so I used chilli from a jar.
I didn't have tomato puree, so I used a tablespoon of something Indian I had in the fridge.
We didn't want rice, so I used couscous with saffron and ground coriander. It soaked the juices up nicely. I wasn't sure about adding it to the TM5, so I cooked it separately (boiling water over the top of dried couscous then stir). Then tipped the dinner over the couscous, stirred, then served.
We had it with green peas to add some crunch and freshness.
We added a bit of coconut milk when serving, because the kick back was a bit warm for my son, with the added Indian Paste.
Thank you, everyone loved the meal. They said it would be good without the chicken too.
So good! Im new to this thermo business and it was easy to follow
Very yummy! I used a tin of tomato and only 100g of water And served it with mash potato!
Really nice meal could have kept eating will def be making this again big hit. Thankyou
Loved this recipe. I used a tin of chopped tomatoes instead of tomato paste and just added 100g of water. It was a big hit.
This is so good! Fantastic flavours and a big hit. I only used 300gm water, as I couldn't fit anymore in, but was just perfect.
