Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

We really enjoyed this meal. Realised afterwards there is no step for when to add the onion. I guess it would be step 1. I added more veggies to this. Great quick easy meal. Thanks
We really loved this meal, I also added white potatoes too.
super easy meal for through the week. Thankyou!
Do you cook the chicken before you put in it?
Very popular with my 3 children, (almost 5, 3 and 9 months). I omitted the chilli and sugar, and added a chopped carrot as well. I've adeed a cup of frozen peas now that the kids have eaten....as they wouldn't have tried it with them in it
Loved this dish, I used potatoes as I didn't have sweet potatoes. I too used Greek natural yoghurt instead of sour cream, and omitted the sugar. Served with steamed rice and steamed broccoli. Very easy meal, and the family loved it...
Is it correct to use 15cm of ginger? That seems a lot! Is it possible to know roughly how many gram it is?
I really enjoyed this curry, I used a large sweet potato, some Madras curry powder I'd pre-made a while ago, used Greek yoghurt in place of sour cream, and would probably omit the sugar entirely next time. I removed half of the chilli seeds to cater for the family, but would leave them all in if I was making it just for me. Served with a dollop of cottage cheese and some steamed greens. And yes, it was easy - a good mid-week meal. Thank you.
