Ingredients

Krispy Chicken Coating

  • 2 tablespoon salt, Less if preferred
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper, Variant - add to taste but reduce original salt
  • 1.5 tablespoon black peppercorns, or 1 tablespoons of ground black pepper, less if preferred
  • 1.5 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 0.5 tablespoon dried basil
  • 0.5 tablespoon paprika
  • 0.5 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 tablespoon yellow mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 350 grams plain flour

Egg Wash

  • 2 eggs, beaten into a bowl
  • oil, For frying

Meat

  • 2 chicken breasts, chopped into 5 stripes each

Recipe's preparation

    Prepare Krispy Chicken Coating
  1. Place all spices and herbs into the bowl. Closed lid"Closed lid"
  2. Insert measuring cup and blitz on speed 10 for 30 seconds. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat if you want a fine grind.
  3. Add flour Insert measuring cup and Closed lid"Closed lid" blitz on speed 10 for 20 seconds
  4. Taste coating mix and add additional flavour of what is needed and Insert measuring cup and Closed lid"Closed lid" blitz on speed 10 for 30 seconds
  5. Coating your chicken strips
  6. Please desired amount of Krispy Chicken Coating into a bag (approximately 1/4). Coat a strip of chicken in egg wesh and then in place into the bag and shake. Press down to ensure even coating. put to one side. Once all pieces are done, repeat to double coat them.
  7. Please oil into pan on medium heat, Rice Bran Oil has a higher smoke point of 232 degrees and is mild in flavour. The hotter the oil the more it seals the outside so food is not oily. Fry few strips at a time so you dont cool the oil down too much.
  8. Drain cooked chicken strips on paper towel.
