Recipe's preparation

    Step 1
  1. Prepare chicken legs by slicing around the bottom of the leg using a pairing knife then push the skin upwards until your leg resembles a lolly pop.
  2. Step 2 (making your rub)
  3. Add all of the remaining ingredients and blitz on speed 10 for 7 seconds.
Coat your lolly pops generously in the rub.
  4. Step 3
  5. In a baking pan add your lolly pops to the bbq and or oven.
Set temperature between 160 and 180 degrees.
Cook for 15 minutes with the bbq hood down.
Baste with favourite marinade and cook for another 15 minutes.
Using your meater or something similar your lolly pops will be ready when they reach a core temperature of 75-85 degrees.
    Most importantly enjoy 😉

Tip

If unsure how to prepare the chicken legs their are lots of videos on how to seperate the skin and to create the lolly pop illusion.

If you have a meater or a meat thermometre will help to get the best result

    Recipe is created for
    TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
