Ingredients
GF Pizza Base - made with Polenta
- 150 g polenta, (fine)
- 750 g water
- pinch salt
- 1 cloves garlic, crushed (or dried)
- herbs, fresh chopped or dried (to taste)
- 50 g cheese, Parmesan, grated>ID63, (or whatever you have on hand)

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- into bowl - polenta, water, salt, herbs, garlic
cook - 25mins, sp3, 100C - add cheese
stir - sp5, 5-10 secs till evenly mixed through - line two pizza trays with OILED baking paper
spread half mixure on each (used an oiled spatula)
get as thin as possible
set aside (or fridge) til firm - add toppings of choice
cook in super hot (220C) oven until cooked and firm (depends on how thick your bases are) - once browned and cooked, remove from oven
wait till a bit cooler (helps it set more)
cut and serve
Tip
make the bases ahead so they can set before cooking (about 1/2-1hr)
my bases can be crispy around the edge, but softer in the middle, but I still pick them up to eat them
if you make them thicker, you may need an eating utensil

needs tweaking with the water ratio but i will try with hot water to begin and see if this makes a difference as i do prefer a crispy base
