While you are rinsing Rice, boil at least 1L of water in the kettle.
Put the basket back into TM Bowl (with rice still inside) and fill covering rice with water by 1cm.
Cook 22mins/105 deg/Sp2.reverse
Use straight away.

Tip
You don't have to make the full 350g, you can do however much you like. I have a family of 5 and usually serve this with a main dish.
Perfect rice every time!

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

This is my go to recipe for brown rice. Quicker than cooking in my steam oven and it turns out perfectly every time
Hello, do you cook with the Measuring Cup on (noting it's 105degrees and recommend to use simmering basket on top). Thank you!
HappyHumble:it would definitely be Celsius
Thanks for uploading. I love Brown rice!
Can you please specify what "deg": is it degrees Fahrenheit (degf) or degrees centigrade (degc)?
I'm sure this will help everyone around the world understand this technique better.
Thank you and have a nice day

Cooked for 25min as per others and turned out perfectly fluffy. Thank you!
Works beautifully for me. I sometimes give it an extra minute or two but you can easily taste it to check if it suits you.
