I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1:Place olive and sesame oil into mixing bowl, insert simmering basket to weigh rice
2: Remove basket rinse rice and return basket to the bowl
3: Dissolve beef stock cubes or use beef stock you have made in your TM and place it into the water (approx 1 tablespoons) and add soy sauce
4: Once the stock cube is dissolved pour water through the rice in the basket into the bowl underneath (do not remove the basket)
5: Place the cubed vegtables into the bottom of the varoma and spread out the bacon, chicken and frozen prawns in the top part of the varoma and place on top on the TM
6: Cook for 25 Minutes at 100 Degrees, Speed 4.
7: Meanwhile mix eggs, milk and butter in a microwave bowl and cook in a microwave on high for 3 minutes or until cooked, once cooked break up with a fork and place in Thermoserver to keep warm
8: Once cooked place rice in a large mixing bowl and add vegtables, fish, meat and egg, add about 1/3 the remaning flavoured stock left in the bowl mix throughly and place in a Thermosever and serve with prawn crackers! yummy

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

This is absolutely delicious, but I'd cook the prawns, chicken and bacon separately next time, because they weren't cooked when the veggies and rice were cooked and I had to microwave them to finish them off.
Thanks for the recipe, very nice. I used basmati rice, no diff in cooking time. Also cooked the eggs in the varoma tray (on wet down bake paper) for the last 3-5 mins.
beautiful and delish recipe, thank you

Thanks for sharing.
Lovely dish. Great taste and very easy. I made Chinese Stirfryed Vege and Mongolian Beef to go with it. Better than chinese takeaway from up the road and healthier. Thanks
the oil adds flavour, you add 1000g of water as per recipe.
