Recipe's preparation

  1. Wash the passionfruit, and remove the pulp.

     

    Put 1/2 the passionfruit shells into the TM bowl and cover with water.

    Boil   Varoma/30mins/Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"

     

    Strain the shells through the TM Basket reserving the liquid.

     

    Remove inner white flesh from shells and place in the Bowl.

     

    Blend flesh, juice from 1/2 lemon, 250g reserved liquid 30sec/9.

     

    Add seeded pulp, and 200g Raw Sugar and cook Varoma/20mins/Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"   Or until set  Place the TM basket on the top instead of the MC to minimize spatter while allowing steam to escape.

     

     

Tip

To check to see if the Jam is ready place a small dollop on a cold saucer which has been chilled in the freezer.  If the jam skins it is ready if not continue cooking a little longer.

 

 

Great on toast or bread, or can be used as a sauce for Ice Cream, yoghurt, or can use in tarts, slices and other baking!!

    Hello Monzaka. Thank you for the recipe. Looking forward to trying it today. For the first 30 min boiling of skins, did you put the mc in or the simmering basket or leave it open? Cheers, Julie
