Recipe's preparation

  1. Peel the rind off the lemon and add rind to TM bowl. Grate on speed 7 for 10 seconds.

  2. Trim the pith off the lemon and discard. Chop the lemon flesh into quarters, remove any seeds, and add to the TM bowl.

  3. Scoop the flesh of the mango and the pulp of the passionfruit into the TM bowl. Add the hulled strawberries and the sugar.

  4. Cook for 20 mins, 100 degrees, speed 1.

  5. Increase temp to varoma, cook for 10-15 minutes on speed 1 (or until setting point is reached).

  6. Pot into sterilised jars.

Tip

This is the jam that my friends and family rave the most about, and it's my own personal favourite too. tmrc_emoticons.)

Just made this jam as my mother in law had an abundance of passionfruit and strawberries... and this is the yummiest jam I have ever tasted... will definitely be making it for everyone!!

Loved this, and my 81 year old Grandfather loved it even more! Yummy!

I made this yesterday, using more fruit and less sugar than what was stated. I didn't  have any passionfruits so i used a tin of passionfruit. I used coconut sugar also.

The result was AMAZING!!! What an amazing combo of flavours.

Made this last night, had it on my toast this morning! SO GOOD!!! Didn't have passionfruit so used a couple of handfuls of cherries instead. Better than store bought, even according to my husband who is sometimes a bit picky lol

Sorry Kristeli, I only just saw your comment now!I haven't used agar before, but you could give it a go! As the sugar helps set the jam, it seems to me like it could work fine if you are using a setting agent (i.e. agar). Let me know how you get on if you test it out. tmrc_emoticons.)

This sounds very yummy. I have started making Quirky Cooking's Strawberry Jam with a tspn of agar. Do you think I could lower the sugar content if I use the agar for this recipe? I would love to try it!
