- 1000 grams potatoes, peeled & cut into 4 - 5 cm pieces
- 300 grams Milk, (used approx 30% of potato weight )
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, (used approx 1/4 teaspoon per 500 gms potato)
- 60 grams Butter, (used approx 30 gms per 500 gms potato)

Insert butterfly into mixing bowl then add potatoes, milk & salt.
Cook for 25 - 30 min/100°C/speed 1.
Add butter and mash with butterfly still in mixing bowl 15 sec/speed 4 then scrape down sides of bowl and mash for a further 5 - 15 seconds/speed 4 until mashed to desired consistancy.
