Ingredients

  • 75 gTapioca or Red Lentils
  • 3 black peppercorns
  • 600 g ripe tomatoes, halved
  • 1 onion, peeled and quartered
  • 50 g tomato paste
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Small bunchfresh Parsley
  • 500 g Water plus 2 tbspTM Vegetable Stock Concentrate
  • Sea Salt to taste

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all hard ingredients (tapioca/red lentils, peppercorns) into TM bowl. Mill for 1 minute on speed 8.

    Add remaining ingredients and cook for 15 minutes at 100°C on speed 1. At the end of the heating time, blend 30 seconds/speed 1-8, gradually increasing from speed 1 to speed 8.

    Adjust seasoning before serving. Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley or fresh basil.

    I used organic tinned tomatoes it was nice but a little rich fresh tomatoes would probably be better

    Yummy!!!  I added fresh basil and extra 100g of tomato's and I agree, cut the tomato into quarters to help with the initial rockyness.

    Loved this soup! and I even forgot to add the sugar :/ It was so nice with a dollop of sour cream. I would also cut the tomatos up a bit more to help with the blending (it got a bit rocky initially).

    Love This was a really delicious soup.  I used coconut sugar instead of usual sugar and a little bit of cream splashed in at the end.  Used my own tomatoes I grew in the garden too.
