  • 220 grams caster sugar
  • 100 grams Butter, cubed
  • 120 grams Nestle Caramel
  • 100 grams white chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 2 bananas, ripe and thickly sliced
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees. Grease and line a 20cm square cake pan

    2. Place sugar, butter, caramel (reatain 20g for later) and chocolate into TM bowl. Set for 5 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 2. Heat until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Cool slightly before proceeding

    3. With machine on Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" , add eggs, and then flour.

    4. Place machine on Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" and add bananas until mixture is just combined (do not over stir)

    5. Pour into prepared pan. Spoon over teaspoon fulls of extra caramel.

    6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until set.

    7. Leave to cool in pan, cut into sqaures of desired size and serve.

    Very nice. I used a bigger slice tin and it was fine. Found that banana and extra caramel sunk to bottom of slice but didnt stop me from eating seconds!
