Soo delicious! Thank you!
We added in extra honey to the Tahini mixture (165g) and extra Coconut Oil & Cocoa to the topping to make it extra thick!
Does anyone know if you could substitute maple syrup for the honey, as I need to make recipes for gluten free and vegan?
I tested this recipe yesterday and it was a real hit. My husband described it as a real 'nougat' taste - he also had no idea that dates were used in the base (he hates them). I'll be taking this to a Christmas picnic in a couple of weeks to cater for some dairy free and gluten free friends.
This was great, thankyou. After reading comments, I added some maple syrup to base and it turned out perfectly. Sesame taste was great, though possibly a bit strong for those who are not used to it. Will make this again!
bottom layer is to crumbly!!!!!!!
Love this recipe- could have eaten the entire tray. The tahini gives the middle layer a really nice sweet sesame seed flavour. Just needed to mix each layer a bit more than stated.
