Variation Honey Cake
- 50 g sugar
- 220 grams vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 260 g plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 level tsp Vanilla Paste
- 250 grams English breakfast tea
- 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 80 grams honey, For syrup
- 75 grams Boiling water, For syrup

- Method:
Place oil, honey, sugar, eggs and vanilla in "Closed lid" and beat "Slow Cooking" 2 ½ min speed "Gentle stir setting" 4
"Closed lid" Add plain flour and beat "Slow Cooking" 1 min "Gentle stir setting" speed 4
Scrape down sides of bowl with spatula to ensure everything has been mixed well
"Closed lid" Add baking powder, baking soda beat and cinnamon "Slow Cooking" 1 minute speed "Gentle stir setting" 4. slowly pour in the tea.
Spray silicon honeycomb tray with cooing oil. Pour batter into tray and bake in oven for 40-45m at 170oC
Mix ingredients for syrup in a small bowl and set aside.
When it comes out of the oven and cooled slightly take it out of the pan and use a baking brush to coat syrup onto each honeycomb.
