I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Preheat oven to 185 degrees and line two cookie trays with baking paper.
Add raw sugar to dry bowl. Sp 10 / 9 seconds.
Add butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix 2mins/sp 3. Scrape down sides.
Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix 40 seconds/sp 4. Mix should be a soft and workable but not a runny batter. Add more flour if necessary.
Scoop out heaped teaspoons full and place on lined baking tray with a few centimetres between each one. Alternatively if the mixture is dry enough you can roll out balls for a neater looking biscuit.
With a floured thumb, gently press an indentation in the top of each one and then place a half tsp of jam in the top.
Place in oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Tip
I used Aldi brand GF flour but you could easily use your own homemade mix.
I made Raspberry Jam following the Basic cookbook method and it turned out perfectly.
To use normal flour, use 2 cups SR flour and take out the baking powder.
This would work equally well with the TM5.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I used brown sugar instead, no need to mill. They don't crumble and the whole batch has gone!! Brilliant recipe, thank you.
Loved these jam drops. I made them gluten free and dairy free by using white wings GF flour and nuttelex. Beautiful texture and flavour. Will definitely make again. Thanks for the awesome recipe.
I made these today with 60grams peanut flour and 240grams almond flour. Either my oven ran a bit hot or I should not have used fan forced. In any case, the family loved them so I will make them again but adjust my oven. Next time I will try with just almond flour. The recipe is easy and quick.
These are the best Gluten Free Biscuits, I made some as jam drops and some with White Choc Chips and Milk Choc Chips pressed into them. Next time I will try some other toppings. Thank you for Sharing!
Really yummy recipe. Made mine a little on the jumbo size, though the recipe was perfect.
I'm glad you enjoyed them
FANTASTIC! Perfect recipe. Smelt so good and tasted even better.
