Ingredients
Banana Bread
- 125 g Butter, Chopped
- 180 g castor sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 250 g sour cream
- 2 Bananas, ripe
- 65 g Milk
- 550 g Self Raising Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

Place sugar, butter and vanilla into the TM jug and cream.
10 seconds speed 6.
Add eggs, bananas, sour cream and milk.
Combine 10 seconds speed 6.
Add self raising flour and bicarbonate of soda.
Mix together 10 seconds speed 6.
Pour into loaf tin and bake.
50 minutes at 160c (moderate oven)
Until dark golden brown and a skewer inserted into it comes out clean.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
