I have just made the recipe as stated... Can I ask how it went with coconut oil? I want to give that a try next time
I made a gluten free version using puffed amaranth instead of the oats and it was delicious. I had to add them a bit at a time until I got the right consistency, but I forgot to weigh them. Will do next time. Great idea for school treats.
Great healthy bar. I used coconut oil instead of butter and used 50g honey and 50g rice malt syrup. Also added in some chia seeds and puffed rice. Can't wait to try it, cooling down in the fridge!
