Crumble topping
- 150 g Cold Butter, Cubed
- 225 g plain flour
- 75 g sugar
Base
- 100 g Butter
- 75 g sugar
- 225 g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
Rhubarb filling
- 1 bunch rhubarb (~400g)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 165 g sugar (3/4 cup)

COmbine butter, flour and sugar for crumble topping in TM bowl and pulse 2-3 times on turbo for 1 second each to mix to a breadcrumb like consistency.
Set aside until the base is cooked
Describe the preparation steps of your recipe
Without washing bowl from the crumble, melt butter for the base in the TM bowl 4 minutes 50 degrees speed 2
Add in all remaining base ingredients and mix 10 seconds speed 5
Tip into line slice tin and press evenly into base
Bake 20 minutes at 180 degrees C until browned
While base is cooking, toss together the sugar, rhubarb and vanilla until combined
Spread rhubarb filling evenly over cooked base and sprinkle with crumble topping
Bake slice a further 35-40 minutes until golden brown
Set aside to cool in tin then slice once completely cooled to serve
