  • 125 grams Butter
  • 155 grams brown sugar
  • 1 level tsp vanilla essence
  • 500 grams banana, 5/6 bananas
  • 1 level teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 level teaspoons bi-carb
  • 250 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 100 grams golden syrup

  • 2 eggs

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees and line loaf tin 26cm x 11cm

    Throw bananas in bowl and mash 4/5 seconds speed 6. Transfer to seperate bowl.

    Without washing bowl, cream butter, sugar, vanilla 20 seconds speed 4. Scrape down sides and cream for another 10 seconds speed 4

    Add eggs through measuring cup hole gradually on speed 3 over 30 seconds.

    Add bananas and remaining ingredients and combine 30 seconds speed 3.

    scrape down sides and combine another 10 seconds speed 4. Try not to over mix.




    bake for 20/25 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.


    leave in time to cool for 10 minutes before turning out onto rack.

    Serve hot, cold or wrap single pieces and freezer for later.

    Definitely gets the tick of approval from my family when I made this today. Great recipe I made it into small cupcakes for the kids and mini loaves for us tmrc_emoticons.) sprinkled few choc chips before baking as an extra treat for the kids
