Yummo! Used coconut milk instead, left out the almonds (only because of my fussy eaters...) & this was deliciously good!! Added a few blueberries at the end too. Yum yum, thanks for posting.

I liked this, made it this morning for breakfast. I've always liked porridge but this a a nice spin on a old tradtion. I only had 60g of oats so i only used 550g of milk but its still turned out great, thanks for the recipe.

My kids love porridge, and this is a family favourite around here now! My 6 year old girls will even take this to school for recess in winter in a thermos food jar. We were just making it with almonds and dates, and recently thought we'd change it up a bit and add coconut. This is now the favourite flavour combination! Definitely better than plain old porridge tmrc_emoticons.;) I don't usually weigh the coconut, dates or almonds in, I usually just add a handful of each. But the measurements are as close I could guess. You could adjust to your tastes tmrc_emoticons.)

Busy Mumma of 5 tackling it one day at a time Smile
